Finally my kid want's to go shooting!

Been doing my best to teach him since before he could speak. Has pretty good trigger discipline even with Nerfs or bb guns. Never really expressed any interest in shooting though. Comes to me tonight and asks if we can go to the range, he is dying to go shooting. Who knew? Lol. Well, happy to oblige...

My youngest (11) is always asking to go to the range with me but he is suppose to be 12 years old per the rules of the range. The Vice President told me years ago don’t worry about it but I didn’t want to cause any issues. Now my youngest can pass as a 12 year old and he is excited.

So what are you going to start him on?

I became RSO, rifle and shotgun instructor and became involved in shooting sports program with scouts until he lost interest. I'm tickled pink! lol... It's not looking good for AS now maybe in the fall? If you still go up to LG check out our calendar SaraSpa Rod and Gun Club - Home for events that are open to non-members. Every other Fri night is a 22 Rimfire fun shoot and BBQ, Aug 22 a CMP Rimfire Sporter practice match and we have been shooting steel most Sunday mornings ( pistols centerfire or rimfire, PCC's and 22 rimfire rifles) lots of fun, Plus more!!

There’s a range by me does youth shooting for $3.00 two Friday’s a month. They supply the gun, targets, and ammo. Can’t beat it. I give them a $20.00 for my two kids. They shoot from 6:30-8:30 or 9:00 for $3.00. .22 or pellet guns.

Is someone going to ID him? If anyone says anything repeat the following, "Don't worry about what we're doing", and carry on. It's a slightly more polite way of telling someone to fuck off and I use it about 10 times a day without fail.

I plan on bringing him this year. It was hard to pass him off as a 12 year old a few years ago. The Vice President said I could bring him anyways. I just didn’t want to start any issues.
