Actually, whoever drafted the bill for lord Brooks made parts and sub components such tanks or regulators illegal to manufacture and own. Maybe the likes of auto shops like Mineke, and Monro are gonna shotdown their NY operations with this bill so lord Brooks will save the Earth's ozone layer as drivers use more mass transit.

Virginia man uses flamethrower to clear driveway of snow
AMHERST COUNTY, Va. (WSET/WRIC) -- One southwest Virginia man got a little overzealous when tasked with clearing his driveway after this most recent snow storm.

Nathanael Caplinger decided to leave his shovel in the garage, and use his flamethrower to melt the snow instead.

Caplinger told ABC affiliate WSET that he hates shoveling snow. So, after reading an ad in a magazine about a blowtorch, which advertised its usefulness in clearing snow, he decided to try it out.


He bought one after researching the state and local laws and consulting with local officials

HaHaHa! I did this last year with a 100# tank, a 10# regulator and 10' of 1/2" copper. Cleared the ice with little effort.

Call me crazy, but I don't think this is a very good idea.

Back in highschool (a few decades ago) I found out that the plastic they made the shell for supersoakers out of is soluable in gasoline (but not the mechanism).

You *can* make a serviceable flamethrower out of one.
It was undoubtedly a very bad idea, but it did work.
