I started a thread on this subject a few weeks ago. If the courts can recognize that a completely milled lower receiver by itself is NOT a firearm by definition, how far will these communists get with trying to regulate so called 80% receivers?

By definition, almost every semi-automatic pistol, when disassembled, is not a firearm. So if I keep the slides off my poly80 frames, I don't have a gun.

I'm just worried about what bullshit they'll come up with in an attempt to "fix" their laws.

there are no threaded glocks , M&P , Hipoints ect... barrels .. same with AR's .. to the housing that holds the hammer and firing mechanism

so by deff .. all are not a firearms .. even when assembled .. LOL ..

my moss 500 pump has a housing that hold the bolt and takes a barrel ( not threaded ) ..

the guy with a bunch of 80% got them back ..

He said the ATF's attempt to classify the items seized from Ares Armor as receivers, as well as similar rulings in other cases, displayed "a lack of logic and consistency, which has created a climate in the firearm industry wherein it is nearly impossible for the reasonable man to be able to operate in good faith within the law."
The ATF returned 5,786 lower receivers to Karras two months after O'Kelly's declaration was filed. The civil case was later dismissed.

I remember the Ares Armor case. I didn't realize they gave them back to him. They are a polymer lower. In that case, the ATFs problem was they said they were manufactured as usable lowers during the process in which they were filled with a different color poly where you milled them out. The pin holes were also indented.

About 15 minutes with a cordless drill and Dremel.
