Alec Baldwin will never face justice for slaughtering his own employee with reckless indifference, but in unrelated news Kim Potter finally got out of prison looking like hell for defending herself from a violent career criminal in the line of duty.

If only she had actually gone for her gun and kept her cool instead of screaming TASER and breaking down afterward, she likely wouldn’t be in this predicament as it was a completely justified shooting. She should have been allowed to retire, but instead she is a convicted felon who can never own a gun again.

Her or her partner being shot or run over by a violent fugitive with an open bench warrant on a gun charge and order of protection who was fighting and reaching into his vehicle, after ignoring commands and assaulting and fighting off cops. Wright still managed to drive off and crash his car after being shot.

Wright had prior charges for similar behavior with cops and had choked and robbed a woman at gunpoint. His community is better off with him dead. PERIODT, as they say.

I remember seeing the video of this a while ago. Deployment of a taser at that spot was absolutely warranted. She fucked up and grabbed her sidearm instead. Consequences for that mistake were warranted.
