I have the 48. I also have a 43. The slides are interchangeable so I essentially have 4 guns out of two. LOVE the 48. Feels great in my hands. Not as tough to grip as the 19, for me anyway. Shoots great. Super flat.

I've now got a milled 43 slide with an optic. I like the capacity of the 43x. I think I need a 48 so that I can use the frame with my slide to create a 43x.

I have a 43x and my wife has the 43. I can reverse the slides, I haven’t tried shooting them like that. I prefer the 43x for the larger frame

I got the 43x a little over a year ago.I love it.It replaced my 19 as my go to carry.I really like the single stack mags.Makes carrying a spare so much more comfortable.I rarely carried a spare with the 19.I was able to carry 15 rounds for the 19 and always felt uncomfortable with the weight of a spare.Back to the 43x,I find it just as comfortable shooting as the 19 is.My 19 has a NY trigger, I know, but its what I'm used to and what I like.I put the NY trigger in the 43x.Theres no appreciable increase in recoil,its got a bit more snap but is not a big deal.

I got a 43 and a 42. I end up almost always carrying the 42 because it’s even lighter than the 43. Bigger isn’t better for carry for me.

I have both the 43 and 43x. Haven’t carried them much though. I find myself carrying mostly larger guns now. I do put a P365 on my ankle occasionally as a BUG depending on my work assignment. The 43x is too big for ankle and the 43 leaves me with 8 fewer rounds when you include the spare mag I also carry, compared with the P365. The grip on the 43x is very very nice though.

Now that I am finally getting my wife to the range so she can shoot the 19, I don’t want to confuse her with my current EDC which is the Walther with paddle mag release.

A friend of mine bought the g43 a few weeks ago, nice shooting gun and feels good in my smallish average size hand, very small, conceals nice.

Carrying my 43x today. I should carry it more often. It's one of the best concealed carry choices especially in a mag restricted state.

I still prefer the 42 for warm weather carry and the 43 for cold weather carry (pocket holster vs waist holster). The 43x is too big for me to conceal easily and so I never carry it.

You might be worrying too much about the whole concealment thing unless in a non-permissive environment. Nobody sees a G21 OWB when I carry it, so they certainly won't notice a 43x on you. I guess we all have our own thoughts and preferences though. I have carried a 43x at work when not allowed to do so and nobody ever had a clue.

The gun and accessories were purchased over the last couple of months so basically like new. Also a nice JM Custom Kydex holster (southpaw unfortunately for many) and some kydex mag holders.

I've shot both the 43 and 43x recently, and I'm a huge fan of both styles. Personally, the 43 fit me better.

Both are excellent pistols.

Grab it. I have the 43 with extended base plates for the mags so it "feels" like the 43x, basically. I am selling it as id like to have the 43x mos. Its a nice option to actually have the shorter grip of the 43, but its easy enough to conceal any of the 43s. Im actually going to start carrying my 34 as my new aiwb holster just came in from T1C.

43x was my favorite subcompact, especially once I moved to freedom and added the S15 mags.

That said, I could never shoot the small guns I owned at one time or another…43x, 43, P365 or Shield…as well as I shoot my G19. So all the subcompacts are now gone and the 19 is back as my carry gun.

I have multiple 19’s that I shoot very well. I also have a couple 43’s that I shoot so-so but I like them for deeper concealment.
I kept hearing about this 43X hype about how much better it conceals than the 19 so I bought a used one here in our forum. I really don’t see any difference between the 19 and 43X except that the 43X is a little more snappy when shooting.
I see no reason to switch from my 19

Exactly why I got a Walther PDP F Series over my 43X MOS. Very similar in size to the G19 but much better dimensions for my hand and shot like a dream.
