GLOCK Suing Polymer80 For Patent Infringement

Sucks for Polymer80. Note this is specific to the PF9SS, not the PF940 or PF45. Glock is alleging the PF9SS is designed to be completed with an improved catch they filed a patent they filed for in 2014 that is active until 2035. The G43 was released in 2015. Based on the complaint it looks like Glock has a serious case here and Polymer80 dun goofed.
This lawsuit is the last thing Polymer80 needs and whether or not the PF9SS technically infringes on this specific catch's patent is irrelevant, with at least a prima facie case defending or settling it case will inevitably be a multi-million dollar affair. Let other gunmakers beware. Seems like P80 got sloppy and greedy with the PF9SS, which is surprising given all the other legal targets they have on their back.
