So I have a concealed weapons permit................I can carry concealed, as many pistols as I want to burden myself with.

BUT, KNIVES OVER 4-5 INCHES, AND ALL SWITCH KNIVES, GRAVITY KNIVES, BRASS KNUCKLES, CLUBS BILLY'S, MACES, THROWING STARS, NUMCHUKS ARE ILLEGAL TO CARRY CONCEALED, IF NOT ILLEGAL TO OWN outright.

Now, I want to carry 8" Bowie made in Pakistan, that is razor sharp, and maybe a swtichblade...I have the CC permit.........

WTF is going on? I do not intend to carry a Samauri Sword or a Crusader's Sword........

What is wrong with this picture?

I am not sure where you are getting a 4-5" limit? This is how the law is written. The emphasis is mine


A person is guilty of criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree when:
(1) He or she possesses any firearm, electronic dart gun, electronic stun gun, gravity knife, switchblade knife, pilum ballistic knife, metal
knuckle knife, cane sword, billy, blackjack, bludgeon, plastic knuckles, metal knuckles, chuka stick, sand bag, sandclub, wrist-brace type slingshot or slungshot, shirken or "Kung Fu star"; or (2) He possesses any dagger, dangerous knife, dirk, razor, stiletto,
imitation pistol, or any other dangerous or deadly instrument or weapon with intent to use the same unlawfully against another

Another law to note
shall not apply to:
6. Possession of a switchblade or gravity knife for use while hunting, trapping or fishing by a person carrying a valid license issued to him
pursuant to section 11-0713 of the environmental conservation law.

I carry many of those...

For TRAINING purposes! I have studied martial arts for 40 years and my Dojo is open 24/7/365... So there's that! Besides, the fishing pole in my trunk indicates I went night fishing hence the switchblade... The brass knuckles are great ice breakers, or I use the ice picks, all for the fish of course... Lmao

All legal!!!

I’m not sure how the brass knuckles and fishing make them legal. That’s like saying I can’t use an ice auger and need dynamite so it’s legal for me to drive around with dynamite in my car.

The government doesn't want you to be able to defend yourself, especially from them .Our rights to defend ourselves are not given or taken from us by anyone. We are born with it , Its inalienable. Those who are denying our natural rights are criminals .

The little 3" knife that the NRA sent to me for subscribing isquite legal, and actually a very dangerous weapon. A short deer gutting knife is what it is, but in the hand, it can be a real unexpected neck raker.

I would prefer that beautiful Damascus Bowie for intimidation purposes, but the little one, and the 1911, and the bear spray in the truck for car jackings, will have do do.

All my knives, swords, tomahawks, battle axes, and wrist rockets, are at the bottom
of the deep lake along with all my guns. It was a tragic day, I barely survived that stormy day.

It'll lose. There is NO WAY the founders ever envisioned that people would walk around carrying swords as they traveled, and no way in heck that anyone ever thought of sharpening BOTH SIDES of a flat, pointy metal stick.

Although women supposedly hid double edged daggers in their bosoms. Clearly the ban on such things is rooted in sexist misogyny by the patriarchal hierarchy.
