For sale are two (2) Thompson Center Hawken Rifles, they are .50 cal. percussion models with octagon barrels. They were purchased new in 1976. My father and I were/are the original owners. They are both in excellent condition with no rust and very minor (if any) damage to wood and very little bluing wear. They were hunted with but not abused. One rifle has sling swivel studs and the other does not. For those who do not know, these rifles have nice brass furniture that can be polished up brightly if desired. Twist rate was verified with a tight patch and rod to be 1 turn in 48".
The rifles will come with the original wooden ram rod as well as an aluminum ram rod, ball starter, powder measure, nipple wrench, extra nipple, patch jag, ball mold and handle, tang sight, an unopened box of 100 Hornady round balls and an unopened package of 100 T/C pre-lubed patches.
