Stop the use of Narcan!!!
I can't remember who relayed the story of the same junkie overdosing twice in one day and getting saved by first responders in both cases with Narcan. After that story, I changed my mind. Let those people die. I no longer have any sympathy for these self destructive assholes. We will only get more of them by subsidizing Narcan. Why stop what you are doing if the police will always be there to save you with Narcan? This is beyond absurd.

There is no doubt there are people who benefit from pain medication. The problem is people who abuse it, doctors who over prescribe, and big pharma abusing the system.And this is what leads to people with real, debilitating, pain getting labeled as "looking for a fix", denied then mediation they need, and committing suicide!

Thats a tough topic, and one that Im not settled on. On one hand I dont care what people do with their own bodies, but hard core drugs like heroin, fentanyl, etc... are bad news.

I don't care what others do with their own body if it just effects them. I don't appreciate trying to do the right things and taking care of myself only to have to pay for the treatment (disease/drug) of someone else who is a lazy POS and makes a conscious decision to not do the right thing.

I understand that completely... they they differ. One is a physically addicting drug and one is a tool. As i said, im not settled on this as i wrestle with it.
People are addicted to all sorts of things. And medicine is every bit a tool as a gun is.
Either way, for my, I simply can't see what gives me the right to dictate what another human puts into their own body. It's immoral to me.
