Its working so well for the fun stuff already.Just make all drugs legal and the problem will sort itself.
All drugs? No thanks. I pay enough for everyone else abusing the shit out of their bodies.Just make all drugs legal and the problem will sort itself.
I can't remember who relayed the story of the same junkie overdosing twice in one day and getting saved by first responders in both cases with Narcan. After that story, I changed my mind. Let those people die. I no longer have any sympathy for these self destructive assholes. We will only get more of them by subsidizing Narcan. Why stop what you are doing if the police will always be there to save you with Narcan? This is beyond absurd.Stop the use of Narcan!!!
And this is what leads to people with real, debilitating, pain getting labeled as "looking for a fix", denied then mediation they need, and committing suicide!Dear Albany: how about making it illegal for pharmaceutical companies to shove $$ at doctors for prescribing medicine? Oh wait, if that happens then they won't push $$ at the legislators, either.
The older I get the more I say, "Fuck' em."Stop the use of Narcan!!!
There is no doubt there are people who benefit from pain medication. The problem is people who abuse it, doctors who over prescribe, and big pharma abusing the system. And this is what leads to people with real, debilitating, pain getting labeled as "looking for a fix", denied then mediation they need, and committing suicide!
But grrrrrrrrrrrr *shakes fist* curse you Big Pharma!
The problem is, again, and always will be the ludicrous war on drugs. There is no doubt there are people who benefit from pain medication. The problem is people who abuse it, doctors who over prescribe, and big pharma abusing the system.

No big money in it if it's illegal.
Stop the use of Narcan!!!
".22s and break actions are ok, but ARs are bad news."Thats a tough topic, and one that Im not settled on. On one hand I dont care what people do with their own bodies, but hard core drugs like heroin, fentanyl, etc... are bad news.
I don't care what others do with their own body if it just effects them. I don't appreciate trying to do the right things and taking care of myself only to have to pay for the treatment (disease/drug) of someone else who is a lazy POS and makes a conscious decision to not do the right thing.Thats a tough topic, and one that Im not settled on. On one hand I dont care what people do with their own bodies, but hard core drugs like heroin, fentanyl, etc... are bad news.
I understand that completely... they they differ. One is a physically addicting drug and one is a tool. As i said, im not settled on this as i wrestle with it.".22s and break actions are ok, but ARs are bad news."
Who are you to decide what is ok for someone to put in their own bodies?
People are addicted to all sorts of things. And medicine is every bit a tool as a gun is.I understand that completely... they they differ. One is a physically addicting drug and one is a tool. As i said, im not settled on this as i wrestle with it.
