HR 38 National Reciprocity update

Not that I believe that fuckin RINO Speaker Paul Ryan would ever let this pass, but I see that as of Friday, 9/01/2017, that HR 38 has added one more co-sponsor, Rep Bob Goodlatte, (R) of VA.

That makes it 210 in favor of the bill. Supposedly, it takes 218 (?) to pass a bill through the House. Of course, then there is the Senate under that feckless McConnell to try and get past.

I hate to get my hopes up. This is just an update for those who can deal with the hope and then the pain to follow...

Anyone know why there has only been 1 new cosponsor in the past month? It seems like they were well on their way a few months ago to reaching the required number and now just 8 shy of the needed amount, no one wants to sign. Also, what is the earliest something like this could get passes?

They're all First Class morons and should be shoving shyt down the Dem's throats instead of cow-tying to those who are still holding on to Obama era programs. Bottom line is these idiots should be representing their constituents wants, not their own. And the constituents spoke quite loudly with the election of Trump as POTUS!

I've been hoping for reciprocity for a long time. It may not be perfect, but it's a good start and it gives us something to work with while we keep pushing for more. We have to do things the way the Democrats do which is incrementally and step-by-step. If we hold our breath waiting for the big win will be turning blue in the face before we get anywhere.

And don't forget that one lawyer dude who was saying that H.R.38 will most likely fail but the bill he wrote SAGA (H.R. 3576) is now up to a whopping 2 co sponsors (but hey it's almost guaranteed to pass according to them)

Also the Senate's sister bill S. 446 is at 37 co sponsors out of the 51 needed to pass (would end up needing the 60 to pass because there most likely be a filibuster)

I don't think it would be a filibuster. There are a lot of states that have democratic senators that have a very strong republican base of hunters and shooters. They are afraid to not get reelected this round. Now is our time to do this.

I agree with others though that many republicans and democrats work together behind the scenes to screw us. I think they all have the same goal. People control. I think even the republicans end goal is universal healthcare.

If he can't get on-board with restoring the Rights of American citizens, maybe he shouldn't be Speaker of the House?

fairly certain it's kinda pointless now to co-sign since the house has already agreed to hear the bill and potentially vote on it soon after. at this point its just for show.
