If they actually impeach him they have to turn the whole thing over to the Republicans in the senate who will *not* hold all these hearings behind closed doors.

The House will drag out their secret inquiry so that they can "collect all necessary information" and then vote to impeach President Trump in 2020. That way, the Dems can run against "a President that is being tried in the U.S. Senate for 'High Crimes.'" THAT will be their best political move. It would be designed to do as much damage to Trump as they can in order to improve their chances in 11/20. After all, many uneducated voters will equate "impeached" with "guilty" (of something).

I don't care about the quantity, that's not the way to measure it anyway. The president is the chief executive, it's his job to issue orders.

I care about the contents of those orders.

A president who issues 1000 good orders that are within his authority is fine.
