The Jefferson Co. Board of Legislators will take up Resolution 270, reaffirming 2A rights and opposing the CCIA, at the next board meeting on October 4 @ 6:00pm.

Wont do anything unless they instruct the sheriffs not to enforce it.
Not real fond of the Sheriff as I knew her and her reputation before she became Sheriff (after retiring from the State Police) but she's not running for re-election, and the heir apparent is pro-gun, so we'll see.
Honestly I don't believe for a second that the Legislature or Governor give a fat flying fuck about the County Legislatures or their "Resolutions" that was made perfectly clear in the months post SAFE-Act where almost every County sent one in opposition to it, and yet here we are.
An Injunction and Republican (Zelden) Governor are our best hopes for un-fucking the work of these People:

Zeldin ca do little unless we flip the entire state and the chambers below the governors office. I know hochul thinks she can do as she pleases and does, but the Republican’s never do and if they try it normally doesn’t work. The Supreme Court appointees were a slightly different story and I’m sure glad they did it now, well for now. These resolution legally mean nothing except they show support for us and may help in some cases here and there if law enforcement decide not to take action against us, but that depends on the cop and DA in that area. Jefferson county needs the DA to say he won’t prosecute for this and that would mean more than a signed piece of paper.

Sheriffs are spread very thin. There's been times I needed to make a report to LEOs and I told dispatch I will not deal with NYSP, they said it would be at least 30 minutes before a deputy could make it. No problem, I'll wait.
Broome Co Sheriffs are really easy to work with and don't have a I'm the law attitude.
If the Governors Office were o meaningless then WTH did we fight against it and Cuomo?
The Governors Office IS DAMNED IMPORTANT and if you want face facts, the Senate and Assembly hold such wide margins against Republicans that it would take an act of God judiciously smiting Democrats to lay claim to those Houses.
Work towards the Goal of Republican/Conservative control, do not cast doubts and aspersions, inspire others to not only cast their vote but to have their voices heard loud and clear.

ummm Challenged .. NYSP has to be disbanded ( conflicts of interest ) .. then all the LEOs can be deputies in County Sheriffs Dept.
