I built a small snail trap made of 3/4" Ar500 for use in my basement, but before I put it down there, I took it to the range for testing and fired full load 30-06 ap rounds into it point blank, with no issues at all.
I only shoot 22lr into it for testing the cycling of my 22lr semi auto steel plate pistols, but it's nice to know that it'll handle more than that.
