I will say this in his defense. I think Carter was a good man. Terrible president and shouldn't have been in charge of a lemonade stand, but he wasn't a crook or a con artist the way Biden and Obama are.
He legitimately thought what he he was doing was best for the country. He was horribly wrong about it, but he wasn't trying to enrich himself at our expense at least.

I don't wish to speak ill of the dead, but he was an amazingly shitty POTUS. That said, his work with Habitat was commendable. He was in hospice care for over a year. How the hell does that even work? He certainly looked dead when they wheeled him out after he supposedly "voted" for Kamacommie. I thought for sure the military flyover that day would have pushed him over the edge.
