Great. Just great. This kind of “it’s not my responsibility to be personally responsible for myself” lawsuit has ruined many a good company. Cessna comes to mind in the 80s when idiots who flew to the point of fuel exhaustion, crashed, and died. Their estates sued Cessna for allowing them to run out of fuel. Juries ate it up and dished out the money. Cessna stopped making airplanes for many years.

Hmmmm. I never sent my P320 in for the warranty fix. I have put at least 500 rounds through it without issue. I plan to do some mods, which include a new slide and trigger. Thought of even a full Wilson makeover. Guess I better get on that before it goes off and shoots my eye out.

I think SIG IS responsible.

Glocks still have more legs shootings, and deaths, than any other pistol.

That incident does come to mind.
Cessna always built good aircraft. Although they sit at the top of the list for accidents, I think it’s due to the fact that they target sales to the general aviation population that they are in that position.

Hundreds of thousands of P320s sold, and in EIGHT YEARS “more than a hundred people allege” that their guns fired all by themselves. Sounds like personal responsibility has exited this country. Unless you’re talking about holding SOMEONE ELSE personally responsible for your misdeeds. :beer:

Sig admits the gun goes off by itself...................you should buy and carry one.

While it's not my go to carry gun (that honor goes to the P365) my 320 has never fired by itself. I also keep my finger off the trigger until I'm ready to fire too. I did have it sent back to Sig to make the repairs.

I also own a 1970s era Remington 700. That was also supposed to go off just by looking at it. Never fired by itself once. The safety works just fine too. Missed several deer because I forgot it was on.

I carried my p320 spectre appendix for 2 years while working overnights as a lineman. All the twisting and climbing with harnesses , climbing belts and tools … the thing never shot my nuts off ! Weird how well behaved my 320 is .
It’s still my fav in my daily rotation. About 4 years and not a single unexpected bang .
