This isn’t something all that unusual. Back in my day it was bomb threats called into schools. The reason, some dumb ass not only thought that it was funny and if it was done early enough school would be canceled for the day.
All kinds of made-up, fact lacking threads on this forum tonight.

Alert went out to the students from the school. Daughter called parents scared and thought it might be connected to the larger threats to churches, Kirk, and Christian’s that have been occurring. It was posted as the alert was ongoing so no news article wasn’t a shock to me. Sorry I failed your standards.
But, even after you found out this shooting was a hoax, you left the thread up... Weird.

Send the link to a MOD/ADMIN, ask them to delete the thread. Most of the time they won`t have an issue with that.
