Barrel, bolt and trunnion are of forged steel with the barrel chrome lined.
These came into the U.S. dressed and promoted as a hunting rifle and was completely void of evil features. The trigger group was moved back to allow for a Montecarlo stock ( no pistol grip), no flash hider, no bayonet lug and as such are completely NY compliant and are not considered and assault weapon.
