Wow. 77 year old guy, such a criminal I tell ya. What a shame. What if he was a hunter and had some rifles out as a result. I know that is the case for me. When I get out of the woods at camp, the rifles go on a table as there is no storage. So we are criminals at our own camps or homes if we have rifles out? Never trust the cops. Never let them in. My night stand has a 9mm pistol, and a .380 pistol sitting in holsters on top, and PS90 leaning against it. Pistols depending on what I feel like carrying today, PS90 if something goes bump in the night.
On the other side of the bed my wife has another .380 pistol in a drawer on her night stand.
Bunch more sitting on the bench in the closet right now.
And since we only leave the property once or twice a week, even the safes are usually unlocked most of the time.
