Did I miss something or is there no carve out for Law Enforcement?

I think that would be the best place for this law. It will ensure that only the assigned LEO can use the firearm. It's for his/her own safety. Once they prove that's reliable, then make it an OPTION for the rest of us. But... I won't buy one.
