Not to be a douche but that is the same premise for “traditional” sights. If you can’t keep the front post sight in view, you have to still bring it back. Only difference is you don’t have to line up front and rear sights for follow ups, unlike a dot.Shooting with a dot on a handgun does have a learning curve . The dot will expose any flaws in your technique. Back on target in a string of fire takes a bit more skill with a handgun over a rifle . When that dot is bouncing out of the window on recoil the key is to improve your technique to the point where the dot bounces straight up and back down on target as opposed to the dot bouncing all over the place .
