I lived in NY City for 6 months in the late 80, when the cops walked 4 abrest on both sides of 42nd Street which was basically a brothel back then. A local guy showed me the "Brownstones" on Manhatten saying they were selling for over a million dollars. They looked like what I called "Flats" in St Louis. Anyway, all the cars that were parked in front of these million-dollar homes had cardboard cutouts in their windows notifying potential thieves that there was "No Stereo" in the vehicle. I thought back then, what an efed up way to live.
Fast forward to San Fran.

I'm seeing a very glacial epiphany happening in some of these cities. I think the san fran mayor (and mayor elect of NYC) are both coming to grips with the fact that the only way past this stupidity is to get more cops and have them start making arrests and prosecuting. Kind of like, oh, literally every society has known since the dawn of man.

Not seeing that at all. In fact, they are sticking to their guns. To a Godless liberal, this is their religion. They are the High Priests of Progressivism and it is their hill to die on. The people who voted them in who were enamored by their progressivism are losing their progressive faith, but the leaders, the Mayor, and Prosecuting Attorney are in it to the bitter end.

Yeah, its very family friendly now.Back in the day, from 6th ave all the way to the river was a total freak show, peep shows, porn shops,brothels, naked, fat black hookers floppin their titties in the car windows,and they werent even crack hoes yet, every door way had a pimp or drug dealer.Psychos of every variety, the bible thumpin maniacs were some of my favorites.And the streets parallel to it were just as bad.But it was all very entertaining.

Except the global pedophile ring was real (unless you think Epstein really did kill himself, or that the important part of the theory was the Restaurant).
