But definitely not fair too someLaw is clear.
Clearly in violation of the constitution here.Law is clear.
That would be like low hanging fruit, like parking your patrol car just out of sight of the local gin mill at closing time. Here's an odd question as I was driving through a school zone the other day.
Can the government prohibit a gun shop or gun smith from operating a business across the street/right next door to a school or government office?
Would the customers be in violation of any laws?
Since they can setup their zoning however they want, and operating the business without a license is illegal, yes, they can. Here's an odd question as I was driving through a school zone the other day.

Not a direct answer to your questions but there's this below. Here's an odd question as I was driving through a school zone the other day.

Ahh yea, I forgot about that place. Driven by it only a couple hundred times......Not a direct answer to your questions but there's this below.
Not far from me in the village of Corfu, there's a gun shop (A&K Gun Sales) that's right next door to the Corfu Post Office. On the other side of that post office is the Pembroke/Corfu Intermediate School. For perspective, the school is located around 250 feet away from the gun shop. The post office is about 60 feet from the gun shop. The gun shop has been at that location for 16 years.
If you zoom in on the map below you'll see where the gun shop is in relation to the post office and school.

On a side note, FWIW up until 2020 there was a bank right across the street from the gun shop. So the gun shop was located right between a bank and a post office. Next to that post office is the school. Not that there's a problem with that of course, I just have always figured it's kind of an odd place for a gun shop. lol
I've never heard about any concerns about the location of the gun shop. The Corfu area is a very red area, that probably goes without saying.
