I agree, I feel like we will probably be the last state, IF we ever get it :/ I would be thrilled with national reciprocity or even NYC reciprocity for God sake

We'll be in a dead last tie with Califoristan.....the Furher and President are NOT going to get along. AND..as far as 2018...fat chance to get the rural vote out to defeat the Furher.....He and browninoid turned erie county last election with the buffalo billion....he'll do it again
I see we will probably get Constitutional Carry here this year. It came up last year when we still had a Dem run house, and was put on hold, never voted on. NOW we have a Republican House, AND a Republican Governor. I'm pretty sure this is going to happen this year!
My reason for bringing this up is because we HAD a democratic House for the past 95 years, the Majority Leader, Greg Stumbo was in there for ever. He got dumped this year along with a bunch of others that had been in there because of Louisville, and Lexington. Keep the faith, and put on a hard push at EVERY turn, and maybe you can get the same results as we did. Kentucky was the last democratic stronghold in the south to fall, but it did!! The only reason Mitch McConnell is still in his position is because we needed to keep that Republican seat, His old ass will be gone in the next election, and will be replaced by a younger Republican, You can take that to the bank!
It's amazing what has gotten done down here just since the last election when the house flipped, no more stonewalling the Governor at EVERY turn.
I know it's not the same, but fight them fuckers at every turn.

I would love to hear Andy's answer as to why with 14 states having constitutional carry without any spikes in shootings, why he thinks we New Yorkers can't be entrusted with the same responsibility. His answer would no doubt be a magnificent pile of BS.

He can't. There is no factual way to make the case against constitutional carry. Whatever he would say would just be a smoke screen for the real reason of just plain not liking guns and thinking no one except the police need them.
He would just explain how gun crime has fallen sinse the SafeAct was enacted.
Without explaining the fact that gun crime was already on its way down before the SafeAct.
His minions will never check his facts.
I would like to point out that many of us here had a similar conversation almost a year ago during the Presidential campaign. Many of us said this would happen if we elected Mr. Trump. Others laughed at us....
