New York City Mayor Eric Adams said Friday that the Big Apple is at its "breaking point" as record numbers of migrants continue to arrive.

The leader submitted an emergency mutual aid request to New York State for immediate help this weekend to shelter the asylum seekers.

"We are at our breaking point. Based off our projections, we anticipate being unable to continue sheltering arriving asylum seekers on our own and have submitted an emergency mutual aid request to the State of New York beginning this weekend," he said in a statement. "This type of request, reserved only for dire emergencies, asks the state for support to shelter arriving asylum seekers as the city faces an immediate need for additional capacity. Our initial request is for shelter to accommodate 500 asylum seekers, but, as New York City continues to see numbers balloon, this estimate will increase as well."


"The absence of sorely needed federal immigration reform should not mean that this humanitarian crisis falls only on the shoulders of cities," Adams added. "We need support and aid from our federal and state partners and look forward to working together to meet this crisis head-on."
According to Politico, Adams said the cost to handle the asylum seekers is approaching $2 billion, and called the lack of a federal response to the crisis "inhumane" and "irresponsible."

According to the New York City Council there are 80,000 homeless New Yorkers on their streets. It is, by their own assessment, a crisis.

Yet for illegal immigrants arriving in the city, things are pretty good, because the government puts you up in luxury hotels near Times Square, provides free meals, and lets you run wild. You can smoke drugs, get drunk, have sex in hallways, and trash the hotel without repercussions.


And if you don’t like the free food, it just gets thrown out. By the ton, literally.
The problem is so acute that an employee of the (formerly) trendy NYC hotel “Row” has become a whistleblower, filming conditions in the hotel and is risking his job to expose the scandal. He’s no racist–he’s Hispanic himself and worked his way up the economic ladder the right way.

We typically think of places like Chicago, Los Angeles, and, of course, New York City, where armies of migrants sleep out on the streets and in makeshift encampments. But those are actually cities, not “towns.” What happens when the influx of illegal migrants strikes an actual town, particularly a small one without all of the resources typically available in the larger cities? One small family of migrants had a relative living in Jamestown who offered to let them stay with her. Down in the migrant camps along the border, the news of one family having a couple of extra rooms quickly made its way through the grapevine, rapidly morphing into ‘Jamestown is the place to go for resettlement.’

I can confidently say "not a single one".
All were aided and abetted in their illegal activity by our own government.
If I were a sheriff, and illegals started flooding my areas, I would be arresting them.
