I'm going to credit Bongeno with this paraphrase, however it could have come from others: The gap between terms was a fantastic time to learn the multiple aspects of what's going on, by who, and what it's going to take to repair/replace.

I have nothing against trade unions, despite their obvious political leanings and sometimes questionable behavior. They represent something tangible that is actually needed to keep societal wheels turning.
Municipal unions serve no purpose and generate no added benefit to society. They take tax payer funds to get and keep dems in office so they can perpetuate the scam. All done with impunity and with big brother running interference and setting up roadblocks. DOGE should address their inefficiency and wasteful taxpayer spending with no return on investment. The US would benefit hugely from their total and complete demise.

I have variously heard rumblings that many of the long term shitweasels on either side of the aisle own and carry handguns. No way to verify, but I’ve heard Chuck Schumer belongs to that club.
My grandfather told me many years ago that the Congress critters had themselves listed as US Marshall’s, giving them 50 state carry. Also no way to verify, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it were factual.

Lots of Democrats (and Republicans too) practice the "not for thee, but for me" philosophy.
I cannot think of a single President since Eisenhower that was truly "pro Gun" despite their "I support the Second Amendment, but..." proclamations.
The very reason we still have guns is the fact we are a Constitutional Republic and not their Democracy...Why do you think they always call it that, and why do you think they fight so hard to bastardize the Constitution with subversion?
Conquest of the populace while remaining in control and enjoyment of America will require domination, and that's damn near impossible with people that will shoot back. This mass migration of undocumented people is another cog in the multi-pointed attack on the Republic to achieve that goal...they came from Countries where they generally couldn't have guns, where only the government and its henchmen with blue uniforms and badges that could and would remove you in the dead of night with impunity to never be seen again, so they'll accept that's just the way it is.
