There needs to be some sort of mental cognition testing in order to be elected into federal government. It's shocking how many of our officials are inept geriatric out of touch and have no business voting on anything or making any decisions that affect the future of the country.

There is a reason pilots and air traffic control people have mandatory retirement ages. Because they reach a point where even with all their knowledge and experience they should no longer be in those roles because they cannot be trusted to not make mistakes.

It's almost like we know people have a general bell shaped curve in cognition by age. Sure they might all be sloped a bit different, but at the end of the day given a long enough timeline we all suffer that same fate. Sucks, but reality is reality.

The fact that we have 75+ year old public servants tells you how corrupt it all is.
