I'm guessing that buses are a preferred method of the so called "iron pipeline" and he was figuring he could make a few bucks. With cops searching and or sniffing airplane, bus, and train luggage, and searches of USPS, UPS, FEDEX and other shipping packages, what's left for those guys? Hitching rides w/ truckers? Clearly that old Greyhound slogan about "leave the driving to us" isn't what it used to be. And private vehicles with out of state license plates are possibly going to attract attention as well.
Just curious, - does anybody know for sure if you can take your EDC on Amtrak or similar carriers (as checked baggage)?
