It was a gift from his dad who is dying. He wants to keep it original. He’s trap shooting with a buck barrel??

I didn’t see a choke marking or indication on the barrel. I didn’t really look for one too much though. I was more looking at the receiver and stuff to ID the gun. Not sure if you have the sears model or mosssberg. The sears model did not have much info on it. I sent the gun back with my buddy so I don’t have it hear to look at. I did look inside at the bite and there was no riffling so I would assume it’s the same as what you’re referring too.
This one just says on the barrel sears 2 3/4” or 3” chamber like yours. The receiver says nothing and the shell ejector says slug gun but nothing else. I’m sure it’s a mossberg 500 and was able to ID it as one immediately.
I told him he should do a bird barrel but he didn’t want one. Wants it all original. I don’t think he understands you just swap them out. He’s kind of new to guns thanks to me.
