Meh sounds like shit..

Honestly other than the food, the one and only reason I'd think of moving there that they left out was they legalized the AR15 for civilian ownership. But at that point I could still live in actual USA..

But if forced to live in a shit non US country, itd be Switzerland, or Czechoslovakia (probably the latter)

I’ve been hearing this about Italy. I’d actually consider relocating there. The language barrier would be easier for me to overcome, as opposed to the Czech Republic, Hungary or Poland. Plus, wife is Italian, though she’s the 2nd generation away from the old country.

I gotta say, a retirement place on the Mediterranean sounds like a pretty good way to wind down.
