This is what I call the Greyhound of long rifles, smooth and trim in architecture and transition points, very difficult to get right. I still don't completely understand their style of engraving and carving but its a fairly good representation for that area of gun making known in the gunmaking community as the Lehigh Valley School.
The little guy is unique to Lehigh guns and thought to be a representative of the 'Son's of Liberty'.
Too late for this deer season, but Squirrel season runs for a couple more months. Being a fifty cal. it will force me to fine tune my aiming, so I should be in good form come next deer season.
