i have never had a issue with putting line on a spinning reel and casting ..

hell when i lived in SC .. if you had no mechanical reel u need no fishing license ..

i just use the big spool of fishing line and used it like a spinning reel with my finger on it as the bail hoop ..

screw that cane pole and 20 feet of line ..

had the game warden show up once there .. where is your pole .. i don't have one . just a spool of line .. all good



how about a new way to fix Backlash on a baitcast reel .. or just toss it in the water and buy a new one

Get good. Just teasing, I was baitcasting this summer. First time using only a baitcaster, forcing me to improve. By the end I got pretty good, still get backlash sometimes but these new reels with the brakes and what not help a lot.

I always get some line coming off and getting twisted together from my spinning rods. I’ll try this and see if it improves.
