New M&P Spec Series Kit Introduced by Smith & Wesson

Smith & Wesson's M&P pistol line has sold phenomenally well since its initial release in 2005. Now S&W is adding a new 'Spec Series Kit' to the collection.

I wonder if it is meant to compete with SIG's Legion series. I'm liking the two-tone look.

* - yes you could have the threaded barrel replaced or pinned, same with the mags, but that would drive up the price even more...

You can get the same gun in black without the threaded barrel. Take the slide off and get it cerekoted. The only problem is that package comes with standard capacity mags. M&P M2.0 | Smith & Wesson
