New York City Supports New York State in Fight Against Gun Violence

The willful ignorance is stunning.
I do not care for the phrase, but, I will use it here.
I am against all of this gun violence as well. I am sickened by it. I wish it would go away and I wish for all of our American neighborhoods to be safe for all.
I say it over and over; new laws will do nothing to slow or stop this violence.
One thing will though, send armies of Police into the inner cities where most of this gun violence is found. Remove the will of the vermin to commit these acts of violence. Raid their homes and their cars and their hang outs.
Arrest those that are committing these horrible crimes, try them in a court of law, convict them and send them to prison for as long as the laws allow.
If the laws of punishment need to altered to increase time in prison, so be it. Build more prisons, lock more of the vermin away.
Clean the streets and rid these areas of the scum that cannot seem to follow simple rules, decorum and laws of a civilized society.
Seems simple to me, much easy than fighting all these bullshit laws in a court room.
If a homeowner has a bug issue, like cockroaches, they do not put up signs to stop them from reproducing; no, an exterminator comes to the home and eradicates them.
