They should say "Invalid laws are not laws" and ignore the will of New York tyrants and do as they please.

That isn't to say invalid laws, like the ones in New York, don't have to be followed. I have to follow them because they have consequences since I'm stuck here. They have consequences because people will put pensions to enforce invalid laws over my personal rights. Therefore, I have no choice but to comply for as long as things are, by and large, to my benefit to do so -- until they aren't, if ever.

However, other states have no such obligation since the invalid laws of New York carry zero enforcement or authority in other states.
