In a nutshell: Mandates in a free society is never a good thing, case in point, EV's. (And the COVID lockdown/jabs).

I can't agree enough. EV's aren't for everyone, and no one should be getting "tax" credits for the type of vehicle a person willingly chooses to drive.

41.6 MPG on a tuned (NOT DELETED) 1/2 ton diesel pick up truck.

Yet Stellafuctardis dropped their re-engineered diesel engine (first iteration was a disaster!) for a shitty gas Hurricrapper engine only to get 17 MPG. <<< Shit like this is why our country is the way it is!

My modern 1 ton diesel truck that can haul anything gets 22-24 mpg unloaded.

We have the technology without EVs or batteries, and these motherfuckers aren't using it to it's full potential!

No cars should give you a tax credit. If you want a car, pay for it yourself, don't mooch off of the public.

He's not just screwing Musk, he's screwing anyone that wants a Tesla instead of a different ev. I don't want an ev so I haven't done any research on them to know what's good and what's garbage, but some people want Teslas. Now those people will have to choose between what they want vs settling for something else and getting a rebate.
Personally I think rebates are stupid. Make a quality product and price your product fairly and then people will decide if they buy it or not.

Hopefully Newsome will be behind bars by the end of January for harboring illegals, so maybe the CA residents that didn't vote for him will catch a break.

That is impressive! Yet they don't want you prospering with it so they make Diesel all the more expensive. Back in the 90's diesel was much cheaper than gas as I'm sure you know. .Gov fucking over everyone.
