I was at the Syracuse Gun Show today. Saw something I wanted, running the BGC took quite a while at least 45 min. to an hour. It did however eventually go through and I was approved. Later I went to make two other purchases at two different vendors and both eventually came back as delayed. WTF? I have never had a delay in my life. Usually they come back within a few minutes as a proceed. I know that sometimes at gun shows the system gets a little backed up and works slower but the delay status chaps my ass. I already bought a gun today FBI asshats! I guess they're too busy ignoring pedophiles or conspiring to frame some citizens. Just remember there was some rally in DC, maybe they're busy trying to turn that into some type of Shitshow instead of running BGCs.
Sorry, just needed to rant. All this shit is really starting to wear me out.

Yeah but just because you exercise your first amendment doesn’t mean they can legally use it as grounds for denial just because you dislike them. If you press it legally they’ll cave before giving up such a file in court and making it public.

I guess my name is common enough (not like John Smith though). I think there was a serial killer with my name, maybe he's out on a covid release and that's why I'm having these issues. Masks were encouraged but not mandated. It was very crowded until about 14:00, like nuts to butts crowded, made me a bit apprehensive as I haven't been around crowds since this shit show started. I personally don't care if people want to wear a mask, it's their choice, but the one thing I'll never get is people wearing them down on their chin. Kind of like wearing a condom on your balls, not really effective.

NY state is already lost. There is no fight left to make there. By staying you are just wasting a vote/voice that could actually do something useful in another state.

Imagine if the British had taken that attitude at Dunkirk. Or McCarther had decided to fight to the last man in the Phillipines.

Anyone having problems with NICS? I went to purchase my second handgun on Aug 23. Backround check came back delayed then status changed to open and still remains open as we speak with no response to proceed or deny. In my state we have to wait 30 for the FFL to legally do the transfer. On Sept 23 we ran the backround check the same process took place with the status. It's now Oct 8th and both of my checks remain open status. I appealed the delay on Sept 23 and still haven't heard back from NICS. This is infringing on my 2nd amendment. Don't bother calling the numbers they give you to check the status it's all automated service that gets you no where. This is totally BS!!
