I thought a bunch of states didn't allow it? A few years ago it was a big deal when a State allowed it and suddenly a bunch of people would zoom out to get married and ham it up in front of the news cameras. I'll have to google it. Maybe SCOTUS banned states doing that shit.

I'm invested in trans people having equal rights. I am against the persecutions we saw from assholes like Stalin, Hitler, Mussolini, Emperor of Japan, Idi Amin, Pol Pot, etc. They pick some fringe group and fuck with them; often to promote national unity or to just steal the wealth of that fringe group. It's wrong. Now certainly I doubt Trump will try and steal their wealth or execute them; but his first step was kick them out of the military, and second step (in progress now) is Trump challenging the Civil Rights Act of 1964 to say that LGBT is not a protected group of people. Once he kicks them out of government completely, who knows what or if there is a third step. Maybe saying Trans people cannot have guns? If he does it that way, he is exactly following the steps Himmler did against LGBT in the mid 1930's.

For what evil reason do Trump and Sessions care about Amicus Curae with regard to Title VII? Why do they care if LGBT is covered in the CRA of 64? Trump is evil; and Pence has a long history of denying LGBT rights. He blames gays for the collapse of society. Not crime, not single family parenting, not the opium epidemic, not STD's, not under-education, not inner city ghetto subcultures of anti-authority, etc. Just LGBT - the total cause of everything.

The majority of heterosexual people view LGBT as not needing to be protected. Heterosexuals rarely care when an LGBT person is killed, assaulted, or raped for being LGBT. For the most part, heterosexual people (myself included) do not fully understand the plight of LGBT folks.
For the most part I have found that people on this board that are heterosexual feel they are BETTER than someone that is LGBT, and go out of their way to use derogatory terms when referring to them. Like that shitstain cop that went on and on about Trans people wearing high heeled boots on active duty. And we wonder why folks don't trust cops, or don't care when a cop is killed in action. His "I am better than the people I serve" attitude is pathetic.
I don't know why all people that get SRS regret it since almost all of the people that get SRS are not asked to be part of a major study, but I have heard some say that even after SRS they are equally mistreated and abused by people who can "clock them" - meaning know they are obviously trans. They are so abused by society and their family / friends that they just wish they dealt quietly with the dysphoria alone and didn't try to change themselves because suffering in silence was preferable to the abuse. In a way, I can understand and agree with that feeling. Many kill themselves after "coming out" because of the abuse and isolation from their circle of friends and family.
Unlike anyone else on this testosterone driven, mostly homophobic board; I do have a few (two) trans friends and have a gay daughter. The abuse they are dealt on a daily basis is patently unfair. Anyone that is even a little bit objective can read these threads and see just how fucked up this LGBT group is treated. Scroll up. Words like Tranny, faggot, mental disorder, and other slurs were thrown out there by the homophobes of this site. I almost get the feeling that to be a supporter of the Second Amendment and gun ownership that you actually have to hate gays, hate trans, hate social programs, and in general hate anyone that isn't a white christian. This makes me wonder if half the people on this site are also on Stormfront or some other skin head site.
