Sorry to say it AGAIN, as I still have family living back in New Yorkistan since my move to the Carolinas, but NY is a lost fucking cause.

The government just keeps digging the hole deeper day by day. And the real problem is that the people living there cannot see how bad it really is compared to what it is like living outside NY’s borders. I always used to consider myself as being pretty up on how bad things were in NY, but I honestly had no idea of the extent of it until AFTER I broke free.

The republican party may not be trying that hard in NY, but the abruptness of Elise's abandonment, and now this, makes me think something really shady occurred.

They do that with Supreme Court judges in my area. Both parties get together and select one so there is only one person on the ballot. I’ve never had a choice for judges in Erie county. The parties choose them for us. It’s sad.

Yup. It's been happening, seen veiled threats and active intimidation going on for years instigated by various levels of politicians and liberal activists. Things ramped up and got very personal and uncivil since 2017.

The coordinated "peaceful" but intimidating persistent loud protests you see on TV against ICE, started happening to targeted Republican politicians, their homes, and their families in 2017 with "grass roots" funding clearly coming from Democrat PACs, anti 2A PACs and Soros-ish donors.
