New York to pay $13 million to protesters arrested during George Floyd protests

The city of New York has agreed to pay $13 million to hundreds of people arrested during the 2020 George Floyd demonstrations, according to attorneys for the plaintiffs, who said it was the largest class action settlement ever paid to protesters in the United States.

My parents both have cancer. If I could, I'd be gone. I'd take any job. I'm strong, physically, and I work incredibly hard. I prefer being on my feet all day if I can help it -- I hate sitting. Meaning I could go anywhere, and do anything, at the drop of a hat if I weren't for family.

As long as this state leaves me alone for a few more years while they heal up -- if they heal up -- then I'm done. I'm gone. I'll take my brother with me, who would likely come in a heartbeat. I just need to make sure they're ok first and take them to chemos.
