Interesting. I agree it’s probably annoying and they shouldn’t have done some of those things, but a 4 million dollar fine, closure, and ceasing a business might be a bit harsh.

I don't know enough about this to really have a feeling on it or whether this was a justified action.

Although -- given how political James is -- I would not be surprised if she is abusing her position to further a political agenda.

I've started answering those calls, and then I get pissy with the agent when they won't sell me a warranty on my Bugatti, Lamborghini, Ferrari or F15. Only way to get them to take you off the call list. Lol

I had this happen to me actually. Dentist was free then Covid hit and they were assessing a personal protective equipment fee. So they never said anything since it was like $15.00 I’d have paid it immediately, but they always have to bill the insurance and never know my portion up front. At the end of the year I get a bill for whatever it was $115.00 or something, wife nails a check and a few months later I get a call saying we will be sent to collections if we don’t pay. I call the wife she says we did pay on such and such a date check #145 or whatever. Oh well we never got it, wife checks and it was never cashed so she voids it. Dentist chick says I still need to get paid I said ok I have cash in my pocket and can swing by today a bit after 4 pm. Oh no need you can mail a check it’s not that urgent. I’m thinking to myself oh really it’s not?
