NYS and CA ban the sale of my wife’s favorite butter because of packaging compliance

Phew. I feel so much safer now that I won’t be killed and I won’t be killing all the endangered plants and wildlife by throwing out my butter wrappers. Kathy hochul has saved my life and I’m so greatfull.
My wife was thrilled to see her favorite butter on sale at the grocery store and bought a good bit of it but now it has disappeared. We thought it was maybe discontinued until I read this stupidity. It’s banned for sale because of how the packaging is made.

Anything NY bans I make an attempt to find a way to buy anyway. This whole anti-gun thing has taught me the ways of using loopholes. I went to go buy a couple new smoke/CO detectors on Amazon and found that they wouldnt ship them because they need to have a fixed battery. Well I just went to ebay and bought them off a third party. No one tells me what kind of smoke detector I can own. Same with the plastic bags.. they banned em, the wife ordered 1,000 bulk online.

Not to worry. That stuff has gotten pretty popular over the last couple of years. They’ll come into compliance and have it back on the shelves in no time. I like the stuff but I personally think it’s too expensive. There are other brands that are just as good that don’t cost as much.

Funny thing about those plastic bags, I was in Tops the other day they can't put your groceries in a plastic bag but they had a table full of the same bags with the Tops logo for sale for 5 bucks a bundle.
