I took the survey and made my lack of support for non-lead ammo known. I don't like where this is going. Sounds like a (political) solution in search of a problem. As far as I can tell, the survey can only be accessed once, through the link in the email from the DEC.

I thought the survey was pretty skewed towards wanting non-lead ammo. I said choice was #1 for what that is worth. I also said I’d bury gut piles, but not pack it out.

My rifle is super picky on hunting ammo, seems to only like Hornady precision hunter.

Tried Barnes and it hated it. If I had to go non lead I would have to toss the rifle and use my muzzleloader (loves Barnes t ez)

Regulatory agencies are typically required to ask these sorts of questions, and solicit public comments before making new rules.

They are not required to pay any attention to the results though.
