Glad he is facing charges, the father that was driving dangerously should be facing charges as well, like reckless endagerment or something.

There is, of course to little information in this story.

From only what was posted, I see two completely different ways this could have gone down.

He pulled over this man for speeding, the driver became violent, the Trooper sprayed and the driver sped away.

He pulled the man over for speeding, the trooper acted wrong, sprayed and that spray led to the death of the child.

I believe, from the story, the father should be charged as well. Hopefully more details will come from this.

Still wondering why they are not talking about why the spray was deployed?

Why did the man flee? Was he wanted? Too many questions.

Agreed, my gripe is that if the cop was close enough to spray the guy he had to have seen family in the car. The only reason i can imagine him taking such aggressive action would be ego, but i could be jumping to conclusions, based on past personal experience, as there really is limited info.

Driver could have had a weapon?

Again, not enough information.

I reached out to a couple Trooper friends to get more details. We'll see if they add anything.

The driver this, the driver that, the cop, based on past performance, could be a psycho who never should have had a badge in the first place. Hey, as long as we're speculating.
