One certain way to determine the intellectual prowess of a person is to find out whether they ascribe to that logic pattern or not.

No more than people that criticize specific cops being labeled cop haters.
People that hate you for being a cop, not because another, different cop was convicted, they just hate cops. Antifa comes to mind.
