Is that Disney or NY?
In my 2+vyears of security, ive seen many come and go from being big headed. They are ridiculous types of people. If some rent-a-cop at Disney asked to "extra search me", I'd just leave. If they refused my leaving, I'd just fight and run. Fuck those clowns.
People seem to care way too much what a badge says.
Even places like Target have "Loss prevention clowns ("officers")" with heads way too big.
I don't stop for regular cops without good reason, no way I'd stop for Paul Blart.
Btw, do you know that Universal Orlando, not sure about DIsney, even has metal detectors at the entrance of EACH COASTER too!? "To make sure no GoPros that could fly off on the ride get on."
Sure...
Their theme park (meaning their property), thus their rules. If you do not like their rules go somewhere else. You could also write letters of complaint to their CEO. Enough letters from enough good folk might get them to change policy. I do not go o NFL games, do not attend concerts or other shows at Madison Square Garden and I avoid other places where I know they prohibit firearms as best I can within reason.
I once visited Hershey Park in PA while armed and left my gun locked up in their security office at my request even when they told me it would have been okay to carry. I did not want to get it soaked on the water rides nor face the possibility it might fall out of the holster on a roller coaster.
All the best,
Glenn B
Wish I could go to cool theme parks...
Last time we were at Hershey Park, my son and I rode water rides about 30 to 40 times on that one day. I don't know if they still have it but we rode on what I think was called Tidal Force at least 20-25 times alone (there were virtually no lines on a rather cool weekday as I remember at the end of the season). I also rode on a few other water rides and on a few roller coasters. Not even considering the possibility of the gun somehow coming out of the holster on a roller coaster, I would have been walking around with my rather expensive pistol, for which I and not the tax payers had paid, in my by then soaking wet fairly expensive leather holster, all day. Then I would have had to wait another 1/2 hour to 45 minutes to get back to our motel and then would have had to clean the pistol and hopefully get the holster dry over the next couple to few days without ruining it. While my gun may have not been ruined nor my holster (less likely for the holster) it was better for me the way I did it.But really quick honestly, a firearm can get splashed heavy and even hit heavy with water and still be perfectly fine, just break it down and dry n oil it again. I always think back to the dudes in like Vietnam with their rifles and pistols under water walking through jungles and stuff..still fired. And nowadays ammo is better then it was..
Severely handicappedMay I ask without offending if your severely handicapped..why can't you go??
Severely handicapped
I'm not looking to offend nobody but..no wonder you bombed at your job interview
This doesn't make sense. Both Alabama and Louisiana both have reciprocity with Florida.
Since no gun signs have no force of law in Florida, how and why where they arrested.
The only thing I can think of is that they didn't even have licenses from their own home states.
