I say bring it on. I’m ready for it and neither mine or my wife’s job will be impacted. I hope most of you guys are in the same spot or have prepared. The prices need to come down.

Powell said the "soft landing" looks to be kaput and all but admitted the Fed will cause a recession in its inflation fight. "I wish there were a painless way to do that. There isn't."

I actually think things started their trend down even before 1/20. Once the world was told of the surprising number of ballots that showed up at the last second, in the middle of the night, the economy tripped.

Sure we met the definition but they said no soft landing now. Get ready because it’s only starting. This will be pretty rough.
I can say the housing market is crashing and crashing hard!! Interest rates are now 6.3%. Wait until the parts catch up and all these NOS vehicles hit the market. I heard chevy is offering a $3,000 discount if you still take the 22’ you ordered. Well how many 22’s are left? We’ve all seen the parking lots full of them. With the companies spending billions on EV’s conversion the recession will send people flocking to use or ICE vehicles because of the cost of an EV.
Now add in food and energy cost increases and we are just asking for a disaster. Many of the increased costs are simply unavoidable and people will retract their spending severely. Many will lose homes and vehicles. Credit card rates are screaming high now as well.
