President Trump: Arm a ‘Small Percentage’ of Teachers to Stop School Shootings​

During a Tuesday afternoon presser, President Donald Trump suggested allowing a “small percentage” of teachers to be armed for classroom defense.
During the presser, which was aired live on FOX News, Peter Doocy asked him about school shootings and the possibility of sending “an armed national guardsman to every school.”
Trump responded by saying, “We have a big problem with school but we also have thousands and thousands of schools that run perfectly.”
He then talked about things that can be done “construction-wise” to make schools safer and harder to enter illegally or illegitimately, but then pointed out that some of the construction-related things can actually hamper police entry too. In the end, Trump worried that that approach may “make it safer for some of these lunatics we’re dealing with.”

There ARE Men and Women in in Schools that would be competent having a Firearm and Rights to carry and use one on School premises, others I wouldn't trust with a Fly Swatter....We've discussed this ad nauseam every time there's a shooting, but all the Democrats do is posture up with demands to outlaw and confiscate Guns, which is simply unattainable in America. They continually invoke this bombastic approach knowing the fallacy of it, all while blaming and deriding Republicans with hateful expectations they know cannot be achieved.
Can't be havn' "Resource Officers" in Skrool because it makes it look like a Prison, back in the Day it was usually the Coaches that took care of "issues"...'course too many of them anymore haven't the intestinal fortitude to do what would need to be done...Home School it shall be.

Trump ‘Open’ to Bringing Back Insane Asylums: ‘Can’t Have These People Walking Around’​

President Donald Trump has considered “reopening insane asylums” and argued that society “can’t have these people walking around” with severe mental illnesses, during a recent interview on his crime crackdown in Washington, DC.
The Daily Caller’s Reagan Reese interviewed him in the Oval Office on Friday, asking if he would “be open to the government reopening insane asylums for people with serious mental illness.”
“Yeah I would,” the president responded.
When Reese prompted further, Trump continued, “Well, they used to have them, and you never saw people like we had, you know, they used to have them. And what happened is states like New York and California that had them, New York had a lot of them. They released them all into society because they couldn’t afford it.”

“You know, it’s massively expensive. But we had, they were all over New York. I remember when I was growing up, Creedmoor. They had a place, Creedmoor, they had a lot of them, Bellevue, and they were closed by a certain governor,” Trump reflected. “And I remember when they did, it was a long time ago, and I said they didn’t release these people? And they did. They released them into society, and that’s what you have. It’s a rough, it’s a rough situation.”

Years ago, my friend, who had 3 kids in school at the time, went to a school meeting. The meeting was about hiring a school resource officer. There was a vote included due to that it would increase the following year's school taxes.

Here's the catch: some teachers and parents demanded that the potential school resource officer not be armed. Doh!

As this was going on, he spotted a large BLM sign hanging on a wall. In a school district that is probably 99% white. Doh!

He and his wife pulled their 3 kids out of that school the next day. Their kids have been home-schooled ever since, and they are all doing good.

They (the parents) had already been considering homeschooling for a while at the time, so they had a running start when it came time to actually go that route.
