Pro-Israel Artist Threatened With 5 Years in Jail for Anti-Terror Posters at GMU

It's not a story out of the Soviet Union though Oleg Atbashian, an artist, activist and commentator, had gotten in trouble for defying the authorities there too.

"Back in my Soviet dissident days, when I was collecting signatures in defense of Andrei Sakharov, I was screamed at, threatened, and lectured by the KGB and Communist funcionaries. What I never imagined was that in the United States, the land of the free, I would not only be subjected to similar treatment, but go to jail," Oleg writes.

But that's exactly what happened to him.

Oleg's mixture of art and satire took off with Communists for Kerry. He's the mastermind behind The People's Cube and his tweaking of the radical left and its alliance with Islamic terrorists allowed him to continue the same fight he had pursued in the days of the Soviet Union. But as the US comes to resemble the USSR, political satire and activism carries a serious price.

This is what happened to Oleg when he put up some of his Freedom Center posters challenging the anti-Semitic environment created by the left's alliance with Islamic terrorists on campus.

The worst thing about it was that George Mason was a Virginia delegate to the Constitutional Convention. He refused to sign the final document because there was no Bill of Rights. Later Madison worked to add the BOR.

Withour Mason and Madison we would have been totally screwed decades ago.

Most unis and colleges in this country should be bulldozed and turned into detention camps for traitors like Pelosi, Warren, Schumer, etc as they await trial for treason.

George Mason also made sure the the states, as well as congress, could call for constitutional amendments:

A compromise, first proposed by James Madison and eventually adopted with only slight modification,[23] was the dual method for proposing amendments, including a mechanism in which Congress would be required to call a convention to propose amendments once two-thirds of the states filed an application requesting it. This would reduce the ability of Congress to block amendments that two-thirds of the states desired; as Alexander Hamilton noted in Federalist No. 85, “[t]he Congress ‘shall call a convention.’ Nothing in this particular is left to the discretion of that body.” He added, “[w]e may safely rely on the disposition of the State legislatures to erect barriers against the encroachments of the national authority.”[24] Virginia delegate George Mason was particularly adamant on this point, believing that any procedure that required congressional approval of amendments would be improper “because they may abuse their power, and refuse their consent on that very account.”​
