Public ranges open during hunting season.

I've taken a liking to going to Thurstons Shooting Range in auburn since it's just a walk up, pay the range fee of 5 dollars, and shoot kinda thing. I had intended to take some of my friends that were visiting late November shooting there but the range closes the day before the start of the hunting season.

Are there any other similarly styled ranges within 45-ish minutes drive from Baldwinsville?

Not really. Most are membership only...and hardly worth it. Better of knowing someone with connections to private land.

My cousin lives down in Otisco and his parents are friends with the guy who owns property behind their house. Soo they can hunt, ride ATVs or whatever on it with no problems.
