Rem 750 Scope Mount Suggestios?

Got a 750 Woodsmaster for this season. Anyone successfully mount a scope to one and wanna recommend what they used? I read around the internet and all Ive found are people complaining about what not to use. I

I got a 750 carbine length just to not have a scope and use the iron sights. I got other rifles to use when I want a scope. You have to take what people say on internet lightly but my step nephew has a 750 with a scope and he piles deer every year. My dad may of asked him to shoot on our 100 yard range once and not spectacular but had basic accuracy and has proven, no misses and he has gotten a lot of venison each and every year. Scope bases, rings and a scope have to be purchased, installed, then sighted in. The sighting in part is key. I tried to help my brother in law with sighting in at 100 yards and I could not get his groups to move to bullseye and it took shimming to help. Do you have a place to sight in after you get something installed?
